| The Harney Volunteer Fire Company has been very busy hosting a lot of events and fundraisers this year; we are not done yet. The morning of September 13th, we hosted our monthly breakfast. It is hosted on the 2nd Sunday of each month. The following month, we will be hosting our 75th Anniversary Open House on October 10th and host breakfast the the following day, October 11th. October 24th come out to enjoy our Hot Chicken Sandwich Dinner between 4-6pm. In addition, we have 2027 Lottery Calendars for sale. The Harney Volunteer Fire Company remains the only 100% all volunteer fire company in Carroll County, MD. All proceeds from our events go directly to the funding of new tools, fire apparatus, buildings and grounds owned and maintained by the fire company. We are currently in the early stages of replacing our nearly 60 year old brush truck. We would like to thank the Harney community and surrounding areas that help us, so we can help others in times of need. |
