| National Fallen Firefighters Weekend held in Emmitsburg, MD was this weekend. The survivor family members from all acorss the county stay in Gettysburg during the event. Sunday morning they are all moved by bus to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg. Many local fire company's provide personal and equipment to stand by on the overpasses along Rt.15. This was the 45th year for NFF Memorial weekend which honored 204 brothers and sisters from across the U.S. who had Fallen in the line of duty in 2025. |
